This bamboo cutting board has been engraved with my original Kansas sketch. Look closely and notice the horizon line the sunflower sun rests on, this is the path I 70 takes as it crosses the state of Kansas. Some might say it also looks a bit like the yellow brick road. Many have driven this long stretch of highway and stopped at towns along the way. The words “KANSAS the Sunflower State” stretch along the bottom of the state outline. The inside of the state is filled in rows and rows of sunflowers in all sizes.
Bamboo is an environmentally friendly product and makes a durable cutting surface that resists stains and cut marks. The cutting board is all natural, no stains have been used on the surface. Due to the grain variety in each board, no two boards will take the engraved image the same way. If ordering multiple boards, each board will be unique with areas of light and dark. Care instructions: Wood cutting boards will last forever if cared for properly. No not put wood cutting boards in the dishwasher and avoid letting them stand it water for long periods. Wash with soap and water and towel dry. Cutting board can be oiled to preserve wood quality.
